Two Individuals Accused Over Heathrow ‘Pepper Spray’ Assault

Two men have been charged related to a luggage theft where a believed to be pepper spray led to people being hurt at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two robbery charges and two counts of using a harmful chemical, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an probe of an assault at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Before the assault occurred, two women were robbed of their luggage stolen after exiting a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A three-year-old girl was caught up in the incident during the incident. Several persons were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.

The incident – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – led to train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
